Hey Kyle,

Thanks for taking the time to review the book. Let me clear up some confusion you seem to have.

1) I was the Associate Editor of the Bump series. It's four stand-alone issues. The story in Hack/Slash #12 and #13 was originally going to be a Fangoria-released one-shot titled "Bump/Hack/Slash". When Fangoria Comics was shut down by the parent company, it was decided by the creative parties (Tim, Mark, Josh Blaylock at DDP and former Fangoria Comics/current Scream Factory Executive Editor Scott Licina) to put it out this way.

2) The bulk of the issue is drawn by Tim himself, and it's actually the first time that he's done this much art on Hack/Slash. The framing sequences at the beginning and end were not part of the original special, but were added by Tim to dovetail into his ongoing series. Which makes sense.

3) If you're interested in Bump #1-4, you can download the issues for free. Many formerly Fangoria Comics properties now live at The Scream Factory.

Thanks,
Troy
