Really cool I love some of the articles that have been written, and especially the comments posted! I am going to come back!
The X-Files were the epitome of my young existence during its original airing, and has long stayed that way. The Comics only furthered my obsession, and I am psyched for a new one!

I want it! Now..!
Hi! I haven’t had a chance to read any X-Files comic yet, hopefully I’ll start with this one
!!
This giveaway is a GREAT idea!
Great!!!!!X-files comics!!!!!!!!!I want one!!!!!!!!!!!Please!!!!!!!!!I´m from Argentina
OMG, I love the X-files so much. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance 2 read any of the original comics. But I’ll try my hardest 2 read these. Oh, and, yes, I’ve seen the 2nd movie 2night!!!
I’d have to say that my favorite was Cam Ranh Bay. It was just so ridiculous that I couldn’t help loving it. It was about trained killer dolphins, y’all. Doesn’t get better than that.
I really remember “Nigh Lights”. I don´t remember if it´s the best but I like it when I was a Child
Thanks for the quiz, it´s still been promoted in my Web
My favorite was the one with the 3 brothers that were inbred superhumans that mated with their mom. that one was so off the wall, whacked out it was gold
my fav was the one about bigfoot
I think I loved the Silent Cities of the Mind and Trepanning Opera the most. I knew them by heart back in the day.
I have never read the Topps comic but this new one has awesome graphics! Scully looks cool with the gun!
The best comic was the “Squeeze” with Tooms. I think some of the comics lacked the length necessary to make a great x-files story. Squeeze felt like a X-files comic, of course, it was based directly off the tv episode.
That looks awesome! Seriously.
My favourite original Topps comic is the Issue 0 The Pilot Episode. It’s also one of my prized possessions.
the best one of the whole comic book series was x-files number 20 and 21 about the camera stealing the souls of the people that one was my all time favorite since i am a photographer and all and i also loved the fact that mulder has to save scully because those are always my favorite ones because it just shows the love and feelings that the charaters have for eachother
i hope to also one day have that same thing
I was never around for the original comics, but I’d LOVE to start now!
I loved all of the Topps Comics and I have them all. I think the ones that based on the Show was the ones I loved the most. I would love to win this one. I am a true Xfiles Fan.
Thank You,
loved X Files comic “Silent Cities of the Mind” takes me back to my childhood….just hope true x files fans win the comics and not the “i never heard/saw/read of the x files before but i want whatever it is thats free” !!!!
andy
I have actually never read any of the original, what did you call them Topps comics, I haven’t even heard of them, I don’t think you can buy them in my country, I’ll try surfing the web for them… does anyone have any website suggestions?
The first issue is pretty good …
Man . . . I have every issue, some of them in duplicate, and you want me to *pick*? No way can I do that, though I will say that I have a fondness for the Kevin J. Anderson penned issues.
I would absolutely love a copy!! I can’t pick a favourite from the original series. But I do own 0-15. I love the comics. They were brilliant.
This looks like a scary and creepy story….I gotta know what happens next…the grapics are wonderful…Mulder and Scully look like the characters in the TV show which was something that I felt wasn’t there in previous comics…all of which were awesome so I can’t pick just one. Please Please I would love a copy!!!
Thank you!!!
Kelly Stuart
For me X-Files has been a huge part of my life. Coming along just in time to inspire me and give me something positive to focus on. Gave my husband and I something to share and enjoy together and individually. We have XF tats, and just about everything xf throughout the world that we have been able to find.
We have been looking forward to the New movie for years, the anticipation is overwhelming.
Personally, I never got into the X-files thing, BUT, after meeting Gillian Anderson in London as an avid theater buff, I am convinced that now in the prime of her life there is another Oscar (beyond her new son) coming in her life. Every episode of the files is art! She is a superb character actress with an amazing range and is “art in motion”. She proved this in “Bleak House” and “The Sweetest Swing in Baseball” in Slone Square. Anything related to Gillian will be kept in a chest and passed down the ages as this type of art is historical and will have its place alongside my art collections..
I was never a huge fan of the Topps comic. I had a few but don’t remember them. The new one looks superb, however. I’m looking forward to both the art and the story.
I would absolutly love to read this . The X-Files are wonderful and I like DD & GA as a specially personality.
Ohh God!!!! The one about the “Brown Mountain Lights” in North Carolina. I live not far from there and have seen those lights. It was great imagining Mulder and Scully investigating my back yard….literally!
I would love to read the rest of it after a sneak peak of pages 1-5. I love The X-Files!
In case folks don’t know, there are several chances for die-hard fans to meet Gillian Anderson (Agent Dana Scully) at an X-Files 2: I Want to Believe Movie Premiere in London or Los Angeles while helping Gillian raise funds for her charities.
There’s also an option for meeting her at Jay Leno’s Tonight Show in Burbank instead of the world premieres.
Meanwhile, winning this comic would be so cool — the coolest thing ever (next to meeting Gillian, of course)!
I Want to Believe!
I’ve seen the sample and think it’s just beautiful. I love Frank Spotnitz, so am thrilled that he has a hand in this. I have several of the previous XF comic books, but have never been very interested in collecting comics. The sample of #0 has changed that, though, and I am really looking forward to reading every single issue that comes out. I can’t wait for XF2 (and 3 and 4…)!
I would love to have a chance at winning this amazing comic.I’ve been an avid fan since i was at least 4 years old.I even dressed up as Sully for halloween a few years back.I’ve never read any Topps comics.but i just wanted a chance to get this comic.
I believe, The Truth Is Out There!
About six years ago, after the series’s end, I “found” The X-Files in what seems like an accident… and fate as well. I was in the doctor’s office having my foot examined because I had a tumor growing from my foot. After the doctor made his initial examination and left the room, I nervously looked around until I came across a book. This book happened to be a part of the young adult series of novels adapted from the series; this one was based on the episode “Squeeze”. I became so fascinated with the story that I began to watch the show and a love for the dark conspiracies, the selfless work that both Mulder and Scully do, and the witty humor began to blossom… That was the year 2002, when I was not even 12-years-old. Now, almost 18, I’m glad to see that The X-Files is back in action and that everyone will now get a chance to experience what “The Truth” was like. The X-Files is truly a classic and unique show, and like few television series before it, will become immortalized along with its characters, actors, and creators. In addition, I like many other fans, believe that the truth is still out there and that Mulder and Scully are not powerless to stop it. After all, one thought can change the world.
How exciting! I’m so thrilled that “X Files” is coming back and I love the idea of the rebirth of the comic books!
I have collected the X Files comic books since they were first released on Topps. I believe I ‘m only missing the Digest #1 variant cover, signed Deep Throat copy of Jerry Hardin, and the collection volume #2. This comic will be well treasured in an XPhile home for years to come.
I would love to win an X-File comic book, The X-Files is a really cool show and I am sure the comic book is too.The person who wrote and drawed the comic books is a very talented person… Hope to see more of the comic books to come out.
I would really enjoy having this comic. I never saw the originals.
From what I could see the original comics were 2D versions of familiar episodes, but I have only seen a few archived screenshots of a handful of pages. Anyway, seeing this new one coming from Windstorm makes my heart go all a-flutter. I think I’m almost as excited about this as about the movie. There is something about the comic book medium that is sexy and yet a hint of childhood wonder, with the heady sense of limitless possibilities (no FX costs here!)…I just totally am into it.
I have some of the comics, but I’m more of a collector than a reader, I suppose. I have the novels, too, but do you suppose I’ve read any of those? No! Shame on me. I’ve watched almost all of the episodes, however. . .always meant to read the novels, but never found the time. . .collected the comics for the art!
I ‘m sorry but I have never had the honor of reading any of your comics. Where I live you are lucky you get cable. I’m sure that if I ever get a chance to read one, it will be true to Chris Carter’s beloved characters and the great job that they do on the series.
I haven’t read any of the comics but my 4 year old daughter loves the x-files and would I am sure love the comic!!!
I’m sorry, I don’t remember reading any of the original ones — but please still let me enter the contest!
I always liked the Season One comics. They made some otherwise sucky episodes of the show (Space and Fire, anyone?) somewhat bearable.
Thanks for the prize I will win!!!
XF Comics? count me in. i would love a copy.
My fave topps comic I think was the conduit comic version. But the Surrounded 2 parts was also very good.
Looove the XF comic cover, never read the comic series but I adore the artwork I’ve seen!
I only got to read the old ones when mom left the comic closet unguarded because I was too young to be trusted, I’m really looking forward to these new ones!
Ground Zero was goose-pimply eerie – so much so that the story came back to me at once when I read your question, although my copies have been put away in the comic closet for years.
I loved Ground Zero. that one was awesome. !!!!
I loved the Firebird series of the Topps’ collection
Even more reasons to look forward to the end of July!
I’m glad this story is taking place in Season 5, before the baby happened.
Oh man!!! I never win anything ever!!! Please let me win this.
I’m only vaguely familiar with the old x-files comic but the animation for this one looks light years better than before! I can’t wait.
Ground Zero <3
This cover is awesome! I can’t wait to read these comics!
Woot!
One of my favorites was the one named “Silver Linning” it was the number 24. I liked the story. It was the disfigured guy that finds a strange coat which controls him. The coat kills people and that way helps him to heal the scars on his face.
Cool story! Can’t wait for #0!!!!!
[...] don’t forget to check our giveaway for a chance to win a copy of this [...]
I don’t have any, but would love to have them all! I hope this one will be the first of my collection!
I am working right now to get all of the older comics since the artwork is brilliantly colored and detailed. The readers can tell the intricacy and thought that goes into the planning and construction of each comic, so owning them all will be a awesome thing.
Can’t wait for the new ones to come out!
i love mulder and scully!
i even have the action figures from the first movie…really hope to win this!
I would love to get this . I think of myself as a big fan of the show. I did collect the Topps series. I thought it was pretty good. But it has been so long since i have read them that I can’t recall a favorite story I liked from the series.
OMG!! Cannot wait for this to come out!!! I have all the original TOPPS comics wrapped in plastic and hope that I can get this one too once it comes out. As for picking a favorite…Who can choose…They were all awesome.
I liked A Dismemberance of Things Past ! Awsome story line as well as grphics.
oh, god! I really hope I win this.
I really liked the first comic it was everything I expected but now woo hoo can’t wait to see what’s instore for us!
My favorite story from the Topps comic is when Mulder is forced to work for a rogue agent in order to get information about Samantha. I think it was either issue #3 or #4.
the x-files comics rules! i like how the writing reflects the tone of the tv series…my favourite story from the comics is ‘firebird’…my favourite scene is when mulder finally gets to meet a group of men that seemingly controls the world. it’s amusing when mulder says,”you’ll have to excuse my manners. i’m not sure what the proper form of address is for a cabal that controls the world.”
wow!!! ooooh my gooosh! xD
I’ would love to see this comic!!.. I’m a huge fan from Chili
thanks a lot for this
adios
Clau
I loved “E.L.Fs”, published in the 2nd annual, and how like the guy lost his mind. I also enjoy “Night Lights”, in issues 18 and 19. The whole series was consistent, and good company to the TV show.
I’ve only read the comic “One Player Only” which was about a killer who might have been possessed by a computer. It was an interesting idea, but not executed very well. However, the illustrations do have a nicely weird atmosphere which would make me want to read some of the other TOPPS comics, but I’m really looking forward to Wildstorm ones written by Spotnitz, especially those dealing with the show’s mythology.
I don’t read comics, but i’m a X-Files freaky fan. I’m so excited to see the second movie. Mulder and Scully come back!
THE LIFE WITHIN X-FILES NOT IS THE SAME. MULDER AND SCULLY ARE THE MAXIM IN THIS WORLD
I LOVE THE SERIE BECAUSE IS SPECIAL AND WONDERFUL. I´M ADICT OF THIS. THE DROUG MORE MAGNIFIC IS X-FILES. I NEVER READ THE COMICS BUT I THINK THAT ARE EXCITING.
FRANK IS GOD.
wow, I need to obtain that comics, as everything x-philo I must, to have it, furthermore written by Frank, aps, hopefully can have it: D
I’ve read one comic once in my life, and not because I don’t particularly like comics, but because it is very difficult to get the ones I want in this place I live… And maybe I suck when it comes to searching them…
5 years ago I founded an X-Files Topps English comic called ‘Ground Zero’ (Part 3 of 4) so I don’t even know how it begins or how it ends… Sad… Well at least I (sort of) speak English…
Anyway I would love to have those X-Files comics! (:
I don’t read comics but my husband loves X-Files!
I haven’t read the comics. I couldn’t get them at that time, but I looking for them now. I saw the covers on the internet though, and they look really nice.
I sure the next one will be great …Frank is a great writer, and I’ve been in Brian website and his work is awesome. I just can’t wait to have it in my hands
Ooo… I don’t read comics, but my hubby is a comic freak! I wanna win this for him! Thanks!!
I cant wait to read the most fantastic comic to x-iles that prepares frank. Byeee…Spain is waiting…
great news.
“Crop Duster” was awesome. and all the two and three parters. the stories were constantly entertaining, but the artwork improved notably in the latter numbers.
Ah, the X-Files! It’s not just 90s nostalgia, the visual dark style of the episodes lent itself really well to comic books! Of all the Topps stories, the whole Petrucha “Project Aquarius” of the first 12 issues really stands out — when is the graphic novel coming out?! — and what great cover art by Miran Kim! This new series had better be as good, or better!
I love X-files. Mulder and Scully are the original heroes that save we of the colonization of our world by the aliens.
[...] falta ni tener los Cómics para intentar llevarse un auténtico número 0. Así que pasaros por el siguiente enlace y… [...]
I love some Topps stories written by Stephan Petrucha (“Trepanning Opera,” “Home Of The Brave” to name a few) and I think some John Rozum’s stories were really great, I could imagine them as an actual episodes. I like “Night Lights,” “Donor,” “Remote Control,” “Surrounded.” Those were really cool. Generally I love Mulder and Scully investigating some scary X-File with great Mulder & Scully dynamic.
ground zero was my favorite….love it…
didn’t read topps comics to comment, however would love to win a couple here….thanks.
I didn’t like the ones that retold episode plots. The artwork was cool (and I’d still love to have the Fight the Future one, if only for that gorgeous shot of Mulder and Scully’s near kiss), but it was a waste of reading time. I haven’t read enough of the TOPPs comics to comment, but I am PSYCHED that Denham is doing the artwork for these. They’ll be so pretty!
I cant wait!!
Yeah, need to have those babies at home. Is July yet?!
Honestly, I couldn’t pick a favorite comic fro the original line because I didn’t read them much. I do have the collections they put out (in 3 volumes) and really, I love them all!
Then again, I just love anything X-Files related
AHHHHHHHHHHH! XF COMICS! The greatest thing! I so can’t wait to get my hands on one!!!! *screams*
