I definitely enjoyed my time with the Re-Animator crossover...but I, like you, found myself a bit disappointed by it overall. It needed more Herbert West and less involvement with the overall plot taking place in the series in my opinion.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

I was really excited about this series and I loved Issue #15, as like you said, Tim Seeley got so close to Jeff Combs' portrayal as Herbert West. As I got to the later two issues, I became more and more disappointed. It's almost like everyone gave up. West's character was totally off (what was with that coffee cup with the stupid quote on his desk in #17?!) and the story faltered. I still enjoyed some of the little nods, but was still overall disappointed by the end. But for a crossover, it was still pretty good.
