I agree that it is both wicked and solid, but also a bit far too over the top. It ventured into silly territory at times and that is why I have an issue with some of the writing. Some of Bullseye’s lines didn’t really fit the serious tone of the book that well in my opinion. Had things been a bit more over the top, action movie violent, I think I might have had a different opinion of how Bullseye was handled.

To be honest, the book probably would have gotten an A- had the art and writing been more consistent. As a whole, I feel that the creative team’s heart was totally in the right place…it just fell short on a technical level from time to time. Also, please keep in mind that a B- review is far from bad…Taking into account that a C is average, I felt that a B- was quite appropriate considering the issues I had with some of the art and writing.

I agree with most of this review, however, I feel your grading is off the mark. This is an A- to A book. Where have you seen a battle like this in recent years, not to mention it fells closer to an actual action film than anything I’ve seen on the stands. I encourage people to read the series.
