I definitely agree with you there and is why I enjoy a lot of Johns’ work. The DCU can be a confusing place, what with it’s having a crapton of mythos and history, but Johns more often than not makes it accessible.

Agreed about this being a big lift from the last issue.

I love how Johns asks basic, almost simple questions about the the DCU, like, “What is the speed force?” and then uses the probing and answering to fuel a story.
