I’d say that it’s about as good a jumping on point as you’re going to get. I do recommend that you have a read through the wikipedia plot synopsis. You can probably get by without that, but it may help, just to be on the safe side.

Really, it’s even good enough if you just know the general gist/major events of the last arc.
