@Michael

I see you're point, but I've forgiven this arc largely because the New Avengers HAVE felt fairly weak up until recently.

I mean, just recently, they were all crawling around on the ground groaning thanks to some stupid device of Harrow's.

That said, while I didn't mention it in my review, I'm kind of disappointed at how the tracking device angle was resolved in a single issue. I had kind of hoped/expected it to be a long-term thing.

The biggest problem I have with the Dark Reign era New Avengers is that it seems to only exist to make Norman Osborn look bad. I mean the guy took over the entire Marvel universe but he still allows the New Avengers to infiltrate his base TWICE to steal back their teammates and gets played by an obvious Kansas City Shuffle? Plus why did it take him so long to respond if the tracking devise was there from the moment they took back Luke? These complaints would be more forgivable if it was a different writer on the book...but since Bendis writes many Dark Reign books including Dark Avengers there is no real excuse to make Osborn look weak every month. Other than that I found the issue to be it's usual medicroe self. Solid art, SOME clever dialoge, some cool cameos, but it lacked an UMPH like it has ever since Dark Reign started.
