I’m surprised Bucky/Cap isn’t on your list as best character. He is Awesome. As for Cap:Reborn. I’m a big fan. Shame the schedule got screwed. But for Hitch, it’s worth it. Also, Mauro Cascioli’s art is Amazing. Just picked up every issue recently because his art is so good. Make sure you to check out Trials of Shazam! He did the last few issues.

(i feel like a shut in for hiding behind them)

All-Star Superman seems to be the only exception. This can lead to some ludicrous snubs.

Detective is a great comic and I hope that rumor of a full-on Batwoman comic in 2010 comes to fruition.

This is the comic that really made me understand what comics can be, and why people love them so–and without a doubt the reason my current pull list is 15-20 strong.

I’m surprised by finding Cap: Reborn on here, but then I went back to read the issues with a fresh outlook, putting aside how annoyed I was by the scheduling problems…and you’re absolutely right. Taken as a story on its own (and when read together properly), its very, very good. Thank you for helping me rediscover it!
