The more interesting question is how the Light got such allies in the first place. You wouldn’t expect Darkseid to be the allying kind.

I think Gordon Godfrey is working for the Light in some way. I have nothing to base that on other than suspicion. If Godfrey is like his comic counterpart, then this may tie into that small clip at the end of episode 7. The secret partner’s “delivery system” (the sphere) and then nothing really more about that Apokoliptian tech. It wouldn’t surprise me at all who the Light’s TRUE secret partner is, and it wasn’t the Reach.

I’ll miss this show, but who knows. Maybe DC will continue the story – it’s not going to be completely wrapped up – on a future DVD release.
