Best of the Past Week: Captain America #50 – From the cover to the end, this issue was simply the most entertaining read last week.
Most Anticipated for this Week: Green Lantern #41- After Free Comic Book Day’s “Blackest Night” oneshot, my trust in Johns has been restored.

Best of the Past Week: Four Eyes #3 – Simply put, Four Eyes continues to be fantastic. Rob does a great job of expressing how great the series is in his review, so be sure to check it out!
Most Anticipated for this Week: Wolverine #72 – “Old Man Logan” is just one helluva fun Wolverine story. It’s got a “Shh…just roll with it” vibe that I can’t get enough of.
Other Top Picks for this Week: Dead @ 17 Ultimate Edition, Ms. Marvel #39, Dark Reign: The Hood, New Avengers #53, Avengers: The Initiative #24, & Darkness #77
Rob’s Top Picks

Best of the Past Week: Four Eyes #3 – Heartwarming, exciting, beautiful, frightening….not enough adjectives to describe. Would be an A+ if not for the atrocious shipping dates.
Most Anticipated for this Week: Amazing Spider-Man # 595 – My favorite character, Spidey, with my current favorite writer, Joe Kelly. The excitement of Kelly’s first major Spider-Man arc just nudges out Old Man Logan for my most anticipated read.
Other Top Picks for this Week: The Stand: American Nightmares #3; X-Men Legacy #224; X-Force #15; Wolverine #72; Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk #6; Green Lantern #41
Alex’s Top Picks

Best of the Past Week: Thunderbolts #132 – Hotwire #3 lost this one by a hair. I just loved this issue of Thunderbolts. The art looked better than it ever has and the new addition to the team, another neglected Marvel cast-away, adds a whole new dynamic and brings a tone of both arrogance and menace. The action was frenetic and creative (who doesn’t love ballet showdowns), but what really sold me was Diggle’s developing of his characters. Ghost, perhaps the least defined of the team thus far, manages to become the most interesting character of Diggle’s run thus far. In the end, while Hotwire was great, I give it to Thunderbolts due to this issue being a GREAT comeback after the dismal Deadpool crossover, with Diggle going back to building/legitimizing his team with the grit and paranoia returning in full force.
Most Anticipated for this Week: New Avengers #53 – I’m honestly not sure why I’m so excited for this issue, but somehow, it’s ended up on the top of my read pile this week. I suppose a good part of it is my always liking Dr. Strange and hoping that we can actually see him kick ass this issue. For better or for worse, I always look forward to New Avengers.
Other Top Picks for this Week: – Green Lantern #41, Back to Brooklyn #5 (if solely for the fact that we’ve had to wait so long for this final issue), Battlefields: Tankies #2, The Literals #2, Northlanders #17
